This course is designed to serve as an overview to the SAS/FSP Full Screen Product. The intended audience should have a basic understanding of the SAS System and the construction and use of SAS data sets.

SAS/FSP is a collection of five SAS procedures designed to interactively browse, edit, modify, and present SAS data sets and views.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • browse and edit SAS data sets
  • add data to existing or new SAS data sets
  • create, edit, and print letters portions of which depend on SAS data sets
  • browse external files
  • Open a FSEDIT session.
  • Create customized FSEDIT screens.
  • Edit existing and new SAS data sets using FSEDIT and FSVIEW.
  • Access external (non-SAS) files using FSLIST.
  • Design and create letters based on SAS data sets using FSLETTER.
